2026 Count Information
- PIT Count: A one-night snapshot of who is experiencing homelessness (sheltered and unsheltered).
- HIC Count: A comprehensive census of where help is available (beds and housing units)

STREET OUTREACH WINDOW Sunset Jan 28 → Sunrise Jan 29 Active field collection period.
FINAL SURVEY DEADLINE Friday, February 13, 2026 All data must be finalized and submitted.

Roles & Responsibilities
Housing & Shelter Programs
HMIS Agencies | Data Integrity Confirm and update program information, ensure HMIS data accuracy, and perform data corrections.
Non-HMIS Agencies | Manual Reporting Update inventory forms, record stayers, and report directly to CoC staff.
System & Regional Leadership
Coordinated Entry Leads | Outreach Participate in CE List outreach and conduct unsheltered street surveys.
CoC Leadership | Coordination Establish guidelines, collect housing inventory updates, and provide training materials.
HMIS Lead | Technical Oversight Develop PIT/HIC tools, lead data collection, and perform final data cleaning.
