UPDATE - September 21, 2026
Following litigation related to the 2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition, the court issued a stay, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released revised guidance after business hours on September 18, 2026, leaving CoCs and project applicants just 12 calendar days to review the guidance, complete required actions, and meet HUD's September 30, 2026, deadline.
In response, the Wyoming CoC has reopened the 2026 Local Competition effective September 21, 2026, to ensure all applicants have an opportunity to comply with HUD's revised requirements. Additional information and updated competition materials will be shared as they become available.
UPDATE - August 7, 2026
A US Court has vacated HUD's 2026 CoC Program NOFO. The WY CoC has halted the 2026 Local Competition as a result.
June 1, 2026
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the 2026 CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) on June 1, 2026.
The Wyoming CoC will host a 2026 NOFO Public meeting on Monday, June 15th (zoom link) and will share additional guidance soon.
In preparation for the Local Competition agencies are encouraged to:
- Check access to e-snaps - esnaps.hud.gov
- Ensure your UEI number is active - SAM.gov
